Aliwan Fiesta Highlights: Festival queens graced the Aliw Theater stage, honored with special awards
Aliwan Fiesta 2024 continued with a vibrant showcase of beauty, talent, and cultural pride, captivating the audiences as we draw near to crowning the Reyna ng Aliwan 2024.
Hosted by DJ Nick and Jasmine Omay, the stunning candidates of Reyna ng Aliwan exhibited their beauty, poise and prowess as they graced the stage of the Aliw Theater in CCP Complex on Friday night.
Meanwhile, the panel of esteemed judges including radio personality Deo Macalma, Vincent Supetran, Edzel Ty, Cherry Veric, and renowned shoemaker Jojo Bragais, brought their expertise as they assess this year's Reyna ng Aliwan Candidates. The Theater was packed, with attendees including Reyna ng Aliwan 2017 Marla Alforque, Reyna ng Aliwan 2018 Chelsea Fernandez, and the reigning Reyna ng Aliwan, Kiara Wellington.
The night began as candidates proudly introduced themselves in their vibrant festival costumes. Following this, the ladies showcased their beauty and confidence in swimsuits made by DR Swim by Domz Ramos. Another set of Domz Ramos' swimsuit creation was worn by the candidates during their photoshoot at Azure Urban Resort Residences.
The candidates also graced the stage wearing their evening gowns serenaded by Daryl Ong. Following this, each candidate took turns in the much-awaited question and answer portion, captivating the audience and the judges as well.
Another highlight of the night was a heartfelt tribute to Ms. Susan Arcega, a beloved figure whose contributions to Philippine culture and the Aliwan Fiesta were unemarkable.
Wrapping the night, special awards were presented to candidates who excelled in various categories.
