Aliwan Fiesta opens photography competition to amateur and professional photographers to showcase their exceptional skills during the upcoming celebration of Aliwan Fiesta this June.

Every year, Aliwan Fiesta not only aims to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Filipinos, but also to preserve and immortalize them through the photography competiton. This competition aims to highlight the Philippine culture and acknowledge the talents of Filipino photographers.

Here’s what you need to know if you are planning to join the competition:

The winners shall receive P50,000, while runners-up will be awarded P25,000 and P10,000 respectively. In addition to that, P2,500 will be given to eight winners as consolation prizes for joining the photography competition.

Winning entries will become a property of MBC Media Group, and the organization reserves the right to publish and/or exhibit the material for promotional purposes. The owner of the photo, however, will still be acknowledged when posted.

Deadline of submissions is until July 12, 2024.
